Church growth is about Christ’s work and Kingdom being spread and grown. It is about building God’s Kingdom and it is the job of the baptized in Christ- that’s all of us.
Following a planning away-day with Diocesan Missioner, Miles Baker, in October 2013, a group of the PCC and a few other interested souls from the congregation reflected on what Church growth and what Braunston’s share of Kingdom growth is about.
Their findings were recently presented to the congregation in the form of a Growth Action Plan, consisting of a 5 year vision to take us from 2014 to 2019, and a more detailed 1 year plan for 2014-2015 to help us to start to achieve that vision.
But we need the support of the whole congregation in order to achieve our vision of Church growth. Specific areas of focus include discipleship, community, social action, finance, buildings and congregation - there are ample opportunities to get involved, however young or old you may be, and wherever you may be on your journey of faith.
