All Saints' Choir

All Saints' has an enthusiastic choir to lead the singing at the 11 o'clock Sunday services and Evensong. The choir enjoys its own space during morning worship to sing an anthem so there is plenty of scope for a wide variety of music, both already learnt and new.

The "big" service of the year for the choir is Nine Lessons and Carols in the lead up to Christmas. The choir also sings at weddings if requested and, if there's any space left in diaries (so not every year!), the annual diocesan choral festival in Peterborough Cathedral.

The regular choir is eight strong and there are other singers who are able to join us on occasion but not regularly. We are always ready to welcome new members, particularly tenors and basses who are in very short supply.

The choir normally meets to run through the music for each service half an hour before the service starts but its main practice time is on a Friday evening from 7.00 to 8.30. The first Friday of every month is Compline at 7.00, followed by choir practice. If you would like to join, do get in touch or come to church on a Friday evening to find out more.
