Like many village churches we continually want to develop our provision for youngsters and understand that we need to be creative and adaptable without compromising the gospel and adapt our offering as the children grow in age and discipleship. This is a continual challenge. Like many village churches we have mixed success. The evidence is that many families are far from hostile to God (or even Church!) but that worship comes lower on the "to do" list on Sunday mornings than we might like because of a whole host of competing priorities for families today.

We now have a small team of leaders for the various midweek and Sunday worship activities for the under 18s but we could really do with a back-up squad of helpers willing to support this vital work. If you have experience of helping children know God or feel called to try please contact us.
